Social Media Examiner recently published a great article on some of the changes on Pinterest. While I tend to be one of those that goes through the changes with a fine tooth comb, figuring out what a platform or tool can do for my business, I have to admit that this is far more efficient.
Mitt Ray of the Examiner tells us that “the most obvious changes you will notice is that the Categories section has been moved.” It’s in a far better spot now directly under the Platform title on top. Another key change users may notice is larger thumbnails. The platform went from 600 pixels to 735 pixels wide.
One of the great things about the internet is that it’s always changing. There’s always something new, another way to do things or a new thing to learn. It’s no small wonder that our kids don’t have time to be bored. It makes me wonder though if the internet is changing the durability of our practices. Think about it. At one time it was not uncommon to hear the phrase, “that’s the way it’s been done for 100 years.” With much of our lives lived out online, Maybe we should change that to 100 days.
